We arrived in the middle of the week just after the snow transitioned to rain. Our site was close to the bathhouse which was clean. The campground was largely empty because of the weather. We hiked the falls several times. It was amazing.

Bath house could use a full upgrade. Road to sites was paved but very narrow. The park was lovely - short hike to old growth hemlock forest & water falls.

We had intended to stay 2 nights but had didn't really love our site - it was very unlevel and we had noisy neighbors across the way. Worst of all was the total lack of a cell signal on either AT&T or Verizon which we needed for work. We found the bathhouse dated but clean. It was quiet at night which was nice - love the sound of nature! The sites seems small over all and we watched as someone in a class A struggled to just make the turn into our loop. There is a nice trail that takes you past 4 waterfalls. Anyways, really not a bad place at all especially for the price. But we visited Deep Creek the next day and opted to stay there.

The gravel site was level enough for our pop-up, but the driveway into the site was steep, so I would recommend a different site if you are pulling a trailer. The gravel site was level enough for our pop-up, but the driveway into the site was steep, so I would recommend a different site if you are pulling a trailer. The camp store doesn’t have much but a few essentials and the makings for s’mores. There was a problem with the water at our site, but they fixed it ASAP. I wouldn’t recommend bring a dog because even though the campground itself allows pets, the rest of the park does not and you can’t leave pets alone. The park website allows you to see which sites have hook-ups. Beautiful park with lots of other parks and state forests nearby.
Kitty would stay here again
