Fairly easy access. a few bumps in the road but not bad. plenty of room for all. ATV’s and Dirt bikes abound
we may spend a couple of days enroute to Denali NP

We attempted this yesterday and the road is doable, but the right hand turns to cross the wash before getting to the camping area has quite the steep pitch. We don't have multiple feet of clearance and would have torn off jacks. I'm not sure I would try it with any size trailer. There is no place to turn around so you will have to back out. There is a highway pull off that I would recommend stopping in and then walk the road down there. It would be a beautiful place to stay.

Beautiful site right off the highway, however, as of 7/24/22 water crossing is about 1 ft deep so with a big rig we passed on this one. Did not want to risk getting stuck in the mud.

Pros: free, tons of space, any vehicle can navigate, less mosquitoes near the water.
Cons: no services, highway noise, ATV noise, water is very silted (even wondered if my dog should be drinking it).
Good for an overnight and right off the highway.

The best part is it's free. I wouldn't recommend it early July anywhere near July 4th though. Tons of vehicles arriving July 2 and ATVs using it as a race track until 2am. Camped here in our 37ft class A motorhome. It was great! Right on the river. A mix of sand and rock. Nice and open but also has secluded spots near trees. Area was mostly level which was nice!

Keep to the right and you’ll find yourself on the gravel/rocky shore. There are some sandy spots - mostly firm but use caution.
Lots of areas to park. We stayed near the front as we were only staying one night. A bit noisy from the highway.

This is just wide open space by the river. When we got here, we saw about 5 other campers. The road to this open area was no problem if you drive slow. We kept driving and picked a spot which nobody was around us. Our dogs enjoyed taking walks and dipping in a water. We highly recommend this place!

Large gravel river bed, mostly open sites, hard packed gravel, fairly level. Rock fire rings at many sites. No picnic tables, toilets or showers. Verizon and AT&T cell and internet service.
Entrance is a short gravel road on the north side of the river. Road in contains a dip down to a very shallow creek bed which was easily crossed. We saw cars as well as trucks, class A, B and C motorhomes, travel trailers, etc. easily access the gravel bar. Traffic noise could be heard at sites closest to the Susitna Bridge. ATV and mountain bike trails located in the woods near the camp sites.
Nearby Talkeetna offers fishing, boating, kayaking, ATV rental and trails, flightseeing and river rafting.
We camped at the Susitna Bridge river bed, mile 104 of the Parks Highway, in a 33’ Arctic Fox 5th wheel.
