Its more than a few miles, but there are trails right from Sun Outdoors into Gulf State Park which has miles and miles of trails, including beach access with a bridge over the highway. A bike is a wonderful way to use the trails in general and to get to the beach. If you don't have your own, the Resort has some for rent, including electric bikes. If you drive over to the park, there are bikes (not electric) that you can use for up to 3 hours for free using an app.

It is not walking distance to anything. Need to drive everywhere
