“Not Squaw Rock anymore”

Overall Rating

This campground has been renamed Stony Campground because "Squaw Rock' was deemed to be offensive to native americans by the Forest Service.
It sits on the confluence of Stony Creek and Rock Creek and is renowned for its good fishing.
It's a long drive to get here but worth it if you plan on doing some fly fishing. Best route is to take Rt 348 from Philipsburg, takes a little over a half hour down mostly paved roads.

CG has a pump well and two vault toilets. Bring bug spray, being this near the water the bugs can be pretty bad.
