Location along the lake is beautiful, but can be windy. Sites are set up great for trailer, but no high ground areas for tents (rock surfaces not friendly with tent stakes). Spent two nights here. Arrived around 1230 on a Monday, only a handful of other campers and camp was about half full that night. The next day camp was completely full by 5 pm. Most people seem to stay 1-2 nights. Enjoyed the flower trail, we clocked 7.5 miles and took us about 4 hours. Do yourself a favor and hike the fire road (out th... more

This campground is located beside Summit Lake, a medium-sized, bright jade green lake. Surrounded by mountains with spruce trees – it is a gorgeous place to camp.
