“Good site for lake use”

We stayed in a full hookup site at the pleasure cove marina campground. The full hookup sites were at the very back located on the road, basic parking spots close together and very challenging to level. If your primary purpose is to be out on lake berryesa I would say this is a good location. It was about 40 minutes in either direction to a cell signal or any services at all. The road in is narrow and bumpy but manageable. They close the gate at night and change the hours so be sure to confirm with them prior to arrival.

Nice lake if you have a boat or PWC to play on. It's ideal for that. But camping is a bit awkward, no electricity, so sewer, no water at your site. They do have a water fill up station out on the access road. In the summer it's quite hot, and running your generator to keep cool inside the RV, day and night, can get expensive. It's subpar for such a nice lake to have no hookup options. It's very quite, but that's because it's a long drive there through some very twisty roads. If you're in a big RV, you may not like the road quality, width and number of turns just to get there. The phone coverage for Verizon was marginal, voice worked, but barely. There are lots of Osprey bird nests around, we saw about 8 Osprey flying around, one with a fish in it's claws. I wouldn't go back only because of the difficult getting there, really poor and twisty roads. Then there's no hookups. Not worth the $40/night since I don't have a boat/PWC.
