The pin location is not exactly accurate. It will take you to a dead end. You can follow it up into about a half mile from the end. It will take you to Evergreen but do not turn on Evergreen. If you are coming from the east you’ll turn about a half mile before it tells you to. If you’re coming from the west, go past where it tells you to turn on Evergreen for about a half mile. There is a sign that says” Spring Lake Fish and wildlife area”. You’ll turn there and just off the road it will have pine campground to the left and oak campground to the right. Pine was a little tighter and had lower branches that a bigger camper might have trouble maneuvering around. A 27 or 28 foot camper shouldn’t have any trouble getting around on the oak side. The sites all had a picnic table and fire ring. It was nice and clean and well-kept. Also very private. There was only one other person there. There are Porta potty‘s sprinkled throughout. We didn’t use them so I don’t know the condition. There is water available to fill up but it is high in nitrates. No electricity or sewer. You will drive by what looks like a dump station but it is no longer in use. all sites were shaded and pretty private. We had a generator so we would definitely stay there again for that price. I would suggest taking a lot of mosquito spray. Our AT&T service jumped in and out but mostly out. There were sites that seemed to have a little more cell power. Be prepared to hear and see wild turkeys
Tom would stay here again
