We found the road easily and drove as far as #6, which was in the trees and blocked the mountain view so we went back to #4. We were able to pull through and was very simple to get level.

Despite the huge traffic grand Teton was getting, we were able to find a spot at this low key campsite. The location is convenient right off the road. We had no problem with our midsize SUV.

Bad Things:
- It was raining all but last day, some snow. Once the rain stopped mosquitos.
- In morning and evening we had Verizon service, but during the day you lose the signal. You always had two bars no matter what. Had to go down to the Airport to do my work online.
- Even though it was close, Jackson was still 45 minutes away.
- Fresh water and dump station was Gros Venture Campground which was 30 minutes away.

Stayed here for week in early June. We arrived around noon this site and one other were available, and the other was taken immediately after we grabbed this one. Lots of others came through during the week, I would recommend early arrival, early in the week. Site 4 is spacious, enough room for 3 or even 4 RVs, and fairly close to the main road, as well as being just a few miles from the entrance to Grand Teton National Park. Lots of mosquitoes, especially dusk and dawn. No southern exposure for satellite TV, but 2 bars of Verizon data. Sign said 5 day limit from Memorial Day to Labor Day, but no one was checking and we stayed a couple extra days.

Only 2 miles of good gravel road coming in. Lots of spaces for any size rv. Very quiet and decent cell service. 20 miles from Colter Lake campground.

We camped here at the end of October. This dispersed camping is on Bridges-Teton National Forest, immediately outside Grand Tetons National Park. We had called ahead to the ranger station, and learned that the road in is passable despite a heavy snowfall. He said we could always stay at the gravel pit early in on the road, pointing out that in the summer there were over 70 rigs there at one time! There was no one there when we drove in, but we were enticed by the promise of an outstanding view further down the road.
When we arrived early afternoon, Spread Creek Road still had snow patches in the shady spots, but was easily passable with our truck. You can camp only in the gravel pit or one of the designated sites, which are spaced very far apart and well-marked with yellow signs. There was about 4” of snow when we arrived, and it stayed, icing over as the days went by. The days were in the 30’s-40’s and nights in the teens-20’s. No rain or new snow.
The view of Mt. Moran and the northern Teton Range from site 4 was marvelous, as were walks down the road and along Spread Creek. It was easy to level and had some sun for the solar panels. Spotty cell coverage on AT&T. We loved this site! It was a convenient location to visit all the usual sights, although our goal of spotting a moose went unfulfilled. We also learned they were to close Teton Park Road for the winter, so we were glad we were able to drive it the last day it was open. Iced-over trails (at our age!) kept us from hiking. One day trip we have not heard much about was the drive we took on Buffalo River Road. Amazing scenery...we highly recommend!

We stayed in #12 the first night but when this spot was open for our 2nd we moved (at around 11 am). It's a couple miles in on a dirt road with some washboarding. Flat and easy to access with our Dodge Ram truck and 26 foot Tahoe Thor trailer.
Second best view in the campground (agree that #10 has the best, although it is a few miles further down a drivable but bumpy road). Trucks and trailers drive by to get to the other spots (maybe one every few hours but usually in bursts) so not super private. Everyone was friendly -- we all waved. Backs up to a hill with trails. The entire campground is a good spot for wildlife. We took a drive along the Wilson Moose Road and didn't see any animals. Then on the dirt road into the campground a moose ran in front of us. Herd of antelope came most days to hang out in the quarry pit, now covered with grass. And a short-eared owl (we think) was hunting in the pit on two days.
Verizon reception was good using an iphone as a hot spot and very good using a verizon jetpack with antenna. I was able to work all day and do zoom calls. With googlefi I had enough reception for calls (although sometimes it failed) but certainly not zoom.
They have a 5 day limit now and no fires (thank goodness). There's a dumpster a few miles south -- first snake river access turnout.

Everyone has described this place nicely. I arrived 6/18/20 about 6:00 PM and was lucky the people already in this site parked to allow four large rigs to fit with plenty of room and we all had great views out the front windshield of our motorhomes. We had rain off and on and by the third night the mosquitos were out.

This place was full on Friday afternoon in August! Drove around all the sites and even tried to go up into the dispersed camping area before settling at site #1 for the first night. Site 1 doesn't have the best views or privacy and you are right across from the gravel pits. But I was able to scope out a spot for the next day when people left.
Moved to site #4 on day 2 and this was such an upgrade! The views of the tetons from here are spectacular, there is a little more privacy and the site is larger.
The road in isn't too bad. The further back you go the worse it gets. All the spots here are really incredible though, I wouldn't have been disappointed with any of them. Most of them had a fire pit, if I recall correctly. Service is spotty but who cares when you're in this setting!
Note: I tried going up further into the dispersed camping area to find a spot when I first arrived. Definitely don't recommend this for larger vehicles. I was lucky to find a spot to turn around in my 24' class c.

The sites are plenty big enough for group camping but a single can be found as well. The road is a bit dusty but all drivers were very conscious of this and drove accordingly. Fire wood is ample and fire rings a designated for each site.
I wish I could have stayed longer.
