We had no problems getting to the campground. Easy check-in, even got a treat for our dog. No cell service but incredibly fast internet.

Nice family owned/operated campground. Beautiful area. Access is a a bit tricky so follow instructions. Store with basic necessities. Pool and mini golf. New bathrooms and laundry. Hookups are OK. WIFI is intermittent and slow. No Verizon service. 15 minute drive into Keystone. Would be 5 stars but internet access was the issue. Mostly back-in sites. Cabins on site also. Great locations for family's or groups. We would definitely stay here again.

This campground is very clean, the bathhouse is newly renovated with individual family style that is very spacious with excellent water pressure. The park is nicely lates out with a cafe, store with basics, lots of space for kids, gas station on site ( little pricey), propane and a dog walking service. Roads are very curvy but doable we have a 38’ TT. Very close to Mount Rushmore and Custer state park. Lots of activities in Keystone. Highly recommended.

We arrived late, and it was difficult to navigate in the rain, but we loved it so much that we came back another night. This is a perfect location to see Custer and Mt. Rushmore. The owner was very helpful in showing us where to visit and make the most use of our time.

This is the second year we have stayed here and we love it. The owner is ver nice and helpful and is making great improvements since taking it on last year. The new shower house is wonderful. Separate rooms for each shower with a sink and toilet. The laundry room is clean with about 6 washers and dryers (washer and dryer next to each other so it’s easy to switch loads). There is a small pool that our kids loved as well as mini golf, horseshoes and volleyball. The camp store is nice with a good selection including exclusive Iron Mountain Road Merch. If you purchase one of their travel mugs you get free refills on coffee, iced tea or fountain soda. The cafe is top notch!! Not only is the food incredible (do yourself a favor and be sure to get their fresh cinnamon rolls and their pizza!!) but it is some of the best prices in the black hills which really helped out this family of 5!! We had an electric hook up with water and there is a dump station on site. We will always be sure to keep this campground on our list of favorites!

Do not follow your GPS down 16A past Keystone! Pigtails, switchbacks and low/narrow tunnels await. Use the directions from their web site.
Flat sites, lots of amenities and some pretty good cinnamon rolls in the camp store. Wi-Fi was spotty.

Less than 30 minutes drive from Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, Custer State Park, and the Needles Highway. This was a well kept family campground with a little store and a café. It has everything you would want from a full service camp.
The WIFI was decent. We had no cell service (T-Mobile)
The pool was shut down when we visited in late September and the laundry/shower house was about to close for renovation.
We enjoyed the full hookups and the pizza from the café, but the location is the best reason to stay here.
As far as the drive here, follow their directions. We missed a turn somewhere and came down a very twisty road. It was a nice drive but I would avoid it if you have a very large rig.

This place seemed to have access to all we wanted to do near Mt. Rushmore. Very nice and quiet. Bathhouse was not that great, but nice and clean. We enjoyed our stay there. The road to the campground was very curvy, so you had to drive carefully! WiFi was iffy at times.

This campground is good for visiting Mount Rushmore, Custer state park and Crazy Horse. The location feels very private. There was no cell service (Verizon) in the park. The WiFi worked sporadically, but most of the time didn’t. The pool is very small, only large enough to accommodate maybe 5-10 people at a time. Mini-golf was fun, and the playground was great for the kids. We encountered low voltage alerts (less than 104 volts) with our surge protector, causing it to disconnect from campground power regularly. The site was easy to back into, and the campground easy enough to navigate with our truck & trailer. The roads coming in from every direction are tight, windy and hard to see on. Driving to this campground is not for the faint of heart. You need to be sure to use their prescribed routes on the website instead of your GPS. If we were to visit the area again, we would probably find another campground that was easier to get to.
