Stopped for a couple nights. Reservoir is low still. Cows make little noise. Will recommend this camp to all!

We love staying in Forest Service Campgrounds because they normally have good water, vault toilets, lots of trees & places to hike. We had adequate Verizon signal to search & text. We did not try calling or downloading. The CG was half full on a Sunday night in early Aug. If the lake (created as a reservoir) was not so low, this CG would probably be full. We thought there would be some fun hikes from the CG but the only one we saw goes to the lake which is not that appealing in its half empty condition. We liked that the CG was quiet. However, it feels like it’s been abandoned: subcontracted to a NFP that is not maintaining it adequately. The picnic table at our site was unusable. The top looked like it had been roasted under a broiler & no longer had any flat surface.

Lake is still partially empty but seems to be a consistent issue. Vault toilets and Verizon service. We would absolutely stay here again and we where very surprised at being the only ones here as it is lovely and as you might imagine very quiet.

Large spaces, well spread out. Accommodate any rigs, fairly level spots. Great price. Pit toilet only. Would be a 5 star but lake has no water.

I was just tenting it this trip but the spot's all seemed to have easy enough access.... Nine view's of the lake but no direct access from the campground..... Had good cell service with Verizon....
