Yes, prohibited in Loops A and C. But sites in Loop B have electric hookups so if you need electricity that is the place to be.

Generators are prohibited while electricity is available at loop B. We were there this weekend (9/20/2020) and spoke with a ranger to get this answer. Several sites were running generators anyway... As a national park this campground was not observing the fire ban for Colorado, but closest place to buy firewood is at base of mountain. We ended up glad we didn’t have a fire as smoke from just a couple others was pretty annoying. A wonderful campground even with these couple quirks. Stayed in loop A for first night then snagged a second night with electricity in loop B. The hiking right out of the campground is AMAZING!

Generators are allowed at this camping area, the campsites are spaced well apart, some generators were being run, but the sound of the generators was barely noticeable.
