The elec pedestals were being upgraded in 2020 and now it appears all sites are 50,30,20 amp plugs.
Like was stated the bath houses at least the one close to us in this section was like nice inside. new tile and fixtures inside.. there is a nice handicap shower area and one stand up shower with a bench and nothing to hang stuff on.. its like the people that do this never take a shower and need hooks to hang stuff.. would be nice to have some 3 dollar hook installed 2-3 in the shower stall area.. not a lot to ask..
there are some paved road but for the most part they are gravel with the usual pot holes.. not as bad as some but still a deal.
could use a tractor with box blade to run over and smooth it all down. not much to ask.
RECYCLING.. did not see any on site but there is a nice public site not far away.. heading north on 101 cross bridge and at first stop light turn left.. you go out about 3 miles and when you are right beside the waterway you see sign for Humane society and Recycling center.. on the right. they take most of the stuff you have. easy in and out.
be sure to turn left out of the RV park and see/ climb the hugh sand dunes on ocean front. Orgean Dunes National Rec area. You can rent ATV's down 101 to ride the area.. You can drive on beach from nov to april. go to end turn left and follow path to beach.. not too deep sand saw regular tire chevy blazer on beach so not a big deal, but check for yourself..
Water is good at 85 TDS,, taste good and not hard..
Att was fast..
t mobile was ok, better when boosted.

Upon arrival, sites are first come first serve. You basically drive through the park and find a spot you would like. We happened to stay in B-1 which was a FHU site. Many of the sites in the campground are water and electric only. They do have a dump station at the front of the park and multiple gray water dump spots throughout the park. Majority of the sites are in the trees and there is some privacy. Site B-1 was pretty level, not under the trees, and got lots of sun when the sun was actually out.
Bathrooms have recently been updated and were very clean. Laundry room nice and clean. Machines take quarters or you can use an app. Outdoor pool and hot tub as well. Pool was closed for the season.
Close to the town of Florence. Verizon signal was adequate to talk, text, and stream videos. Would stay again if in the area.

Pain to get in and a pain to leave. More rules than a kindergarten class. Rude entitled staff this whole experience was not my favorite. Beautiful campsite when u could finally get to it . Lots of amenities that close early.

It was quite dark with all the trees and hence why most sites were a muddy mess. The staff was friendly and helpful.

South Jetty is the most heavily treed spot we have stayed at to date. Some of the spaces are so dark it's almost spooky. Trying to escape the summer sun? A great choice.
It's adjacent to the Oregon Dunes and a couple of miles from a gorgeous long stretch of beach. It's a lovely campground, but rustic as most TT parks are. many of the roads are gravel, with some potholes, but not big, bad crack an axle types. With all of the trees, most of the sites feel very, very private. In our experience here at the beginning of June t's a quiet park.
Another poster said it's not big rig friendly. I would rephrase that as only 20-25% of the spaces are large enough for a 40' rig, that still leaves a bunch of sites that are big-rig friendly, but if you arrive at 7 pm on a summer holiday you probably won't get one. There are lots of quite small spaces as well. The roads are tighter, but completely driveable, with no white knuckle skills needed. We parked up on the Hill (Section C) which is mostly tents and cabins but found a site (C30) that our Starlink dishy liked. It was very tight but close to the pool while being completely private. The site had 30 amp power, water, and sewer. It took me a half dozen attempts to get our rig level using leveling pads and some blocks we carry, in addition to our self-leveling jacks, but I will take that exchange any day of the week for a beautiful private site with good sun. Very few sites in this park are Starlink friendly (Maybe 5-8 for larger rigs?)
The staff was very friendly and time we had a question. Packages are $5.00 for RV parts, medicines are free, you need to fill out a form ahead of time. Other packages are not accepted according to Ranger Briana. No USPS accepted.
The pool was clean, heated, and large. There are also a kiddie pool and a hot tub. The first hour in the morning is reserved for lap swimmers (Yes it's big enough for legitimate lap swimming.) The laundry was clean and with lots of washers and dryers. Full though on a Saturday morning.
There is an Activity Center and a deck overlooking the pool.
Shopping a couple of miles away in Florence including a large Safeway for groceries.
I took away one star for Site Access within the park and two for Site Quality since many sites aren't level and a bunch of sites are still flooded as of early June.
Our T-Mobile phones were usually two, and sometimes three bars. Our T-Mobile and AT&T data reception in our Peplink router with a Mimo roof antenna for both four bars. Starlink was great at our site, but that is a rare exception in this park, at most sites, it would be a large paperweight.
We look forward to returning.

We have thousand trail membership and this was our least favorite. BEWARE: our generator was stolen out of our truck. It was secured and someone came in the middle of the night and slashed the straps and stole it from our truck and used the little hiking trail to walk it out. The manager admitted to me that some gas tanks had been stolen a few weeks before. When we arrived the first day, there wasn’t a single staff member in sight. That should have been our first red flag.
This park is not big rig friendly.
The only nice thing about this park is the nice sites surrounded by trees. But unfortunately due to lack of staff and too much privacy, it’s the perfect scene for someone to come check out what you have.
WE WILL NOT BE BACK.

If you like trees, no sewer, 30 amp electrical, no rest rooms, this place might be for you. Not my kind of place.
Trees means you most likely will not get a view of the southern sky - much needed for satellite reception. No sewer connection means you can't dump so you have to use the bath house for the toilet or showers or have a short stay or use a dump caddy or move to empty you tanks. All on my side of the CG were closed and 3 out of 4 were closed. It's usually cloudy, windy, misty and cold. So heat would be real nice. 30 amp and you can barely run one heat pump never mind two and with that you'll have to manage what you run. Close to the ocean but not walking distance and if you go to the state park you'll have to pay.
They make you disconnect before looking for a site if you are towing a vehicle. And if you are single like m you are walking back to pick up for towed.
Sites themselves were mixed as to size but most seemed fairly unlevel.
Florence is a good sized town and is close. Plenty of shopping, restaurants and anything else you'll need. I had a week planned but lft after 2 nights.
Staff were friendly enough I do wish they told be so many bath houses were not operational and I might have chosen a different location.
Verizon worked well for me.

While the park was gorgeous, staff friendly, amenities well cared for … working remotely proved very difficult with poor cell signal and we had to go into town to work during the week. WiFi in the activity center was spotty. We had a new $600 bike stolen from our site and turned out there were many other thefts recently but we were not notified which would’ve helped keep us diligent to lock everything every night - it slipped our minds because of pouring rain! The park has great proximity to lots of amazing places to see, a great town, and many conveniences … but not sure it would work for our family to come again due to WiFi and lack of urgency to attend to thefts.

VERY dusty roads in the park. Pool was good but other amenities are old and run down. Main bathhouse has been remodeled. Park pad locks a gate blocking exit via the dump station until 8:00am. We were leaving at 7:00 and no one to call to get it opened. Had a run in with a ranger when we tried to dump, back up and exit prior to 8:00am. He did not like us backing up to exit on the main road. UGH! This rule, which there are many, was not posted. TT could be so nice if they would just upgrade the park!!
