Town of Seneca has any services you might need. Already making plans for next summer.

Beautiful peninsula surrounded by water. Even non-waterfront sites on the hill would feel like you were on the water. Water/electric hookup only. Dump stations at exit. Kayak, canoe and paddle board rentals available. Pontoon and jet ski rentals available in the area. Boat launch as well. Lots of different types of watercraft present on the lake. Small beach and picnic Pavillion with grills available on main land. Check-in at Campstore/Gift Shop. Shower house was clean. Campground was quiet and very busy. It’s a happening place. Waterfront Restaurant/bar in town had live music which was fun to listen to at night. Each site had picnic table and fire ring. Golf carts allowed for additional fee. Our site was right on the water. Neighbors fished and small kids swam and used paddle boards from their campsite. Sites are close. Pads are gravel with nice paved roads. My ONLY complaint is there was not even one garbage can anywhere on the peninsula. Not even in shower house. Garbage must be walked or driven to main land and placed in large roll-off type dumpster.

Great AT&T service with 5 bars. About 20 HDTV channels. Only about 5 miles from Seneca with stores, restaurants and grocery.

Campground is on a peninsula on lake Keowee. Most sites are lakefront which is very nice. The 10 pm gate closing can be problem for attending Clemson events.

Crowded over Memorial weekend- lake activities only. No quality restaurants in area. Not bad for the $. Great view of Lake. Restrooms/showers not clean. Garbage cans Far away from sites. Slow WiFi if any. Do Not enjoy a beer outside your RV. Lady manning gate very nice!

Stayed there to visit with son at Clemson Univ. Site real nice and right on water and park clean and well maintained. However, info about rules unclear until you arrive. Gate closes at 10pm actually means they don’t give overnight campers the code to get in later so attending Clemson Univ evening events or catch a late movie severely problematic. Would only stay there again if other parks in area booked because of this.
Other very restrictive rules and office hours. Arrived at 5:30 and met by park hosts at gate but they couldn’t check us in but informed us about 10pm rule. Told to check in at office the next day but office hours only 12:30 to 4 when we were going to be at Clemson football game so we never checked in and never checked out on Sunday because office closed and no staff. But we were told there were two armed rangers on site but never saw them. Would be fantastic spot if administrative changes were made. Maybe they expect you to never leave...
