Arrived and we were placed right next to a camper that had a dog barking/growling and trying get out to us from inside their camper. I called the owner who were super nice and allowed us to move. Which by the way the other site we first stopped at had glass and monster cans all around it along with knee high weeds. Site 16 wasn’t bad. Dogs were happy and seemed to be a quiet place. Until night time came. Trains going by probably every hour. Dogs being kept outside of the trailers that live here barking their heads off. Late night travel with vehicles all through the night. Neighbor smoking/coughing at 5 am next to us.
You get what you pay for is the true statement here. I would definitely pay an additional 10-12 to stay somewhere quieter, well maintained and less sketchy.
I expressed my concerns of the previous comment to the owners and they did submit a full refund and apologized for the negative experience.

I was influenced by the high rating it had been given even though I could see by Google that it was probably basically a parking lot. I have to say, a bare parking lot might be better than a field of knee high weeds!
There are some scroungy long termers and a view of a cow pasture.
I really felt like crying when we pulled in ( we had paid sight unseen)
A star for clean bathroom.
A star for ok hookups and decent Wi-Fi

Wifi was good enough to use for a few Teams and Zoom calls when my Starlink lost connection in the blizzard. Within 20 minute-drive to Palo Duro State Park and Buffalo River National Wildlife Refuge, as well as good steaks!
