Overall Rating

The owners are very generous and welcoming. They took us on a tour of their 520 acre property. Besides amazing views, they have the coolest gravel. It is full of petrified wood, prairie rock, agate and even some fairburn rocks. It is very kid friendly, our kids could run wild. They even offered a huge tin tub that our kids had a blast filling up and swimming in. The sites are well spaced. They have a nice volleyball court and ball. Bathrooms are large and fancy, not your typical tacky campground bathrooms. Their focus is on veterans and creating an oasis for them. It was a very relaxing environment that felt safe. It is a mile or so down a gravel road but it was a better road than most asphalt roads, surprisingly smooth. Our 5th wheel is 43ft long. It was very easy to maneuver in the campground. I was a little worried about route 44 but besides some heaves, it was a very easy drive.
