We are so impressed with how large the spots are here! Soaring has the peace & quiet of boondocking while still having water & power. It has a grassy 2 fenced dog park including a doggy pool that all 3 of our dogs loved. We never saw anyone else at the dog park & the dogs had lots of room to run & play. It has a grassy 2 fenced dog park including a doggy pool that all 3 of our dogs loved. We never saw anyone else at the dog park & the dogs had lots of room to run & play. The laundry was clean & efficient. The dump station is also very clean & easy. They have a honey wagon that comes around 2 days a week if you want to use the service. Text’s & pictures came through & the camp WiFi as well as our hotspot both worked. Soaring is the perfect place to stay to hike, fish & swim Heyburn State Park, bike the Coeur d’ Alene trail & spend time in the sweet town of CDA. Thank you for running such a lovely park!

The staff we encountered do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. The cons . There are no shower facilties, there isn't sewer at the site. They do have a dump station on the way out. The biggest cons. The park sits nex to Hwy 5, We listened to trucks all night long using their compression braking system to slow as they went down the hill. There is a large gravel pit operation directly across the highway from the park. We tried to sit outside with our coffee in the morning to enjoy the view, but thevnoise from the gravel pit put an end to morning coffee. Once was enough for us espcially at 55.00 a night. It wasn't worth it.

Nearby is an amazing, huge Native American bead shop, a must see!

Lots of trees and mountains around. Very peaceful and quite. EXCELLENT fireworks display on the Fourth of July...much to our surprise! They said they had fireworks on the Fourth, we didn't expect it to be such a great display. We just really like it here.
There is cell coverage here (we have Verizon) and they offer free wifi that is actually pretty good.
Mike and Karen Wright would stay here again
