“Remote Dispersed Camping On Beautiful Big Snowbird Creek”

Overall Rating
There are 15 dispersed campsites from the forest boundary to the end of the road at a trailhead. The road is gravel but in good shape. The area is remote and seems lightly used, no cell service. We had a small square drop camper and camped at site 3. It’s tucked nicely back off the road and right on the water, also near the only bathroom. Some sites are only good for tent camping due to space constraints. Fishing in Big Snowbird Creek was great and no other fishermen on the water! Overall, an enjoyable remote, off grid experience deep in the mountains. We were there during the week so it might see more use on weekends, especially in summer as locals come out to swim.
