During our stay, the park accommodated 6 to 8 RV's daily. For those exploring Capital Reef National Park, consider a stay at Sleepy Hollow for a delightful experience.

It’s not fancy, it’s not perfect but nice people, clean bathrooms and reasonable price. Close to Capitol Reef NP. You can easily drive back to the National Park.

The nicest people in Utah run this campground. It’s usually quiet but our last stay had major bridge work being done. Wi-Fi is good, showers are hot and Capitol Reef is only 10 minutes away. Nights are very dark for star gazing. It’s just a comfortable place and we will be back again for sure.

Booking only over the phone. Host very helpful.
No cell whatsoever but free Wi-Fi good enough for the kids to watch YouTube.
Price: $30 for RV and 2 pax. $5 each for any extra people

Small, somewhat older campground, but what a GEM! Owners live across the street and only do cash (at this time, anyway). Easy to access sites with electric, but they have a dump site and portable water easily accessible. Beautiful cottonwood-shaded sites with 30 or 50 amp service. The owners are very friendly and pointed us toward some slot canyon hikes, and are a front of local knowledge. Do yourself a favor and spend a few days near Capitol Reef at Sleepy Hollow.

Sleepy hollow is a small, older campground with a wonderful owner who is helpful and fun to talk with. Showers are included with your fee and WiFi might be available. We had it for the 2day stay. Very close to capitol reef NP - and only 6 miles south of Mesa Market - fresh oven baked sour dough bread and delicious goat cheese and yoghurt!
