As noted in other reviews, this is basically a parking lot spot. However, they are building an RV campground in front of the casino scheduled to open in 2024. Not sure if that will impact free overnight parking. They have it leveled with planted trees so it should be nice.

Early June and it’s cold and wet. The mosquitoes are out in force but it looks like a nice place to enjoy the lake during hot weather.

This was a gem. It’s for smaller rvs and tents but if you can fit you should try it. We stayed in a 25 ft RV towing a jeep which we unhooked right at the entrance. There are 5 tent sites and 5 rv sites. Each site has a picnic table,grill and fire ring. There are vault toilets which we didn’t use.

Very clean, spacious and quiet. The bathhouse is a little too far but it’s clean. Very friendly staff. If you have access to a military base, I highly recommend it. They also have cabins for rent.

Arrived at 8 pm on a weeknight, lots of available level sites. Will stay again when in need of an overnight on this stretch of the 5. Tip for arriving after 8 when staff closes the entry kiosk: just pick an empty site and pay on way out in morning.
