Doc wrote and begged me to take down my review from March 2024. Campendium does not provide for changing reviews. So you be the judge. There are plenty of good reviews. I stand by my comments on road noise.

Stayed at this Airstream RV Park for 1 month, March 15-April 15. Nightly rate reflects monthly discount. Practically had the place to ourselves. Doc keeps a clean and manicured grounds. Excellent laundry facility. We felt safe the entire time as the grounds are fenced in on all sides with gates and we could let the dog off the leash to play. Perfect weather, only ran the AC 1 night due to rain. Doc and his pup Roxy were great hosts and we look forward to staying again in the future. Close to Rockport and Port Aransas. Visit Trout Street Grill in Port A after strolling the beach. Excellent food. Nice park with walking trails and off-leash dog park in Rockport. Starlink worked great all month.

Park location is great, easy drive to Port Aransas ferry, Corpus Christie, and Rockport/Fulton. We were there for birding so getting to all the birding sites was important. The park is on Hwy 35 so there is some on and off traffic noise, but it was not an issue with us. Doc is working on a party facitly and a modern bath house. Did not use it, but the laundry facility looked clean and new. By the way, Roxie is the sweetest dog.

if this park had been somewhere else with a more welcoming owner/manager, it would get 4 stars. I’ve never felt less welcome at ant RV Park anywhere. “Doc” tried to help us get parked but yelled, used exasperated body language and freaked out when I almost drove over the edge of the grass. He yelled more that night as we tried to figure out how to open the gate at night to let our guest car exit. He agreed to let me wash the trailer for $2 extra but when I decided to wash the truck instead he stormed over and informed me he had only agreed to washing the trailer. He was afraid I was getting water on the grass that he had spent a lot of money on recently treating it with some chemicals. (Washing the trailer which was right next to the same grass would not have been a problem?). When I asked him what he wanted me to do he just made a dismissive gesture and said “No more surprises!”
Noise. The first two days Doc mowed edged or blew grass the whole day long. His dog that roams the park freely is a barker. The park adjoins TX35, a busy 4 lane highway with 75 mph speed limit and is busy day and night. The neighborhood on the other side is populated with people who have multiple dogs penned outside and bark day and night.
The only amenity is a coin operated laundry.
The utilities functioned normally.
If you’re coming to the coast to relax, keep looking.

PROS
Owner, Doc, an Airstream aficionado, is extremely nice and friendly
Upon arrival, we were invited by Doc to walk the 2.5 acres campground and select a site
Campsite #4 concert pad level with some shade
City water pressure good during our mid-week stay
Meticulously manicured lawn and trees throughout the campground
Gravel roadway
Campsites have concrete patio surrounded by gravel and grass
Nice space between campsites
Entrance gates closed at night (not locked)
2 washers ($1.50) and 2 dryers available in a stand-alone building
Park WIFI available, but we did not use
T-MOBILE 2 bars
CONS
This campground is located along TX35 (4-lane highway) which there was non-stop traffic noise
Bring your longest stinky slinky as we needed 25 feet to make connection at Campsite 4
Campground bathhouse is a single bathroom in a stand-alone pod-type structure, which was out of service during our 3 night stay
Our $50 reservation deposit made via Zelle (36 days prior to arriving) was changed upon our arrival to a damage deposit. We were advised if there is no damage to our campsite upon our departure, $50 would be returned after we departed and it was returned just prior to our departure
Campground web page states Military Discount Rate, but no Veteran discount
No campsite picnic table or campfire ring, but you can bring-your-own above ground campfire pit and operate off the grassy areas
No pool or hot tub
Had to sign 8-page PARK AGREEMENT upon check-in but never provided a receipt for my cash payment (no credit cards accepted)
Napunani would stay here again
