“Nice Campsite But Rules Rules Rules”

Overall Rating

Beware of the inconsistent and numerous rules to get into this naval facility, if you were not an active duty military person. My wife and I are disabled veterans, and every day it seems that we had to confront a different challenge to get back to our RV. Most times it involved, red and blue lights. Once the police followed us, back to our RV to verify that we were actually staying there.
What is the first day they had to run a full background check on me and my wife and the floor subsequent days it seems that they could never find the paperwork I doubt I will ever stay in this nice RV park again because it was just too much of a hassle.

Overall Rating

Great RV park and amenities. Full hook ups for $34/night. Park was practically empty and it was very quiet and peaceful. There is no shade what so ever but good cell signal for Verizon and laundry machines cost $1 per load. Very clean showers and Rec room too. We got in late, around 9:30 and checked in with the camp host in site #61. He was friendly but it was a little confusing before arrival as we did not have a confirmation email or office phone number to call even though we made reservations in advance. Eventually we made contact with the camp host who told us to park anywhere. Overall it was a great stay and good location near Death Valley.
