Overall Rating
Slept here one night on the way through. This rest area has parking that is quite close to the highway (separated by a fence only), making it quite noisy. There wasn't too much traffic, but big trucks just feet away from the vehicle are loud!
There is a sign indicating that a 16-hour stay is allowed, not just 8 hours.
There is a dedicated pet area with doggy bags on the north end, and it was surprisingly clean. The rest of the area is beautifully green grass (no dogs on it though) and large trees, that provide much needed shade in the afternoon.
Can't say anything about the rest rooms - wasn't in them.
I have both AT&T and Verizon data and phone, and NONE OF IT WORKED. This rest area is in a canyon of sorts, so there are long stretches of internet blackout. Even our satellite tracker (InReach) had a hard time finding satellites because of all the tree coverage.
