“Nice, wooded park, but crowded”

Overall Rating
The park facility was great, but the noise from the surrounding guests made for a less than pleasant stay. There's an orchard nearby which was nice to walk around. The tall trees over our campsite dropped a few branches or seed pods during the night, causing a loud thump on our camper which woke us up.

I've stayed here before, love this campgrounds, The one draw back is s you only here electricity, but there is a dump station and fresh water here. The directions to the park are a little misleading the entrance to the Park is to the SE but the entrance to the campground is to the west heading east off 10th Street and Western Ave. Some of the sites on the west side of the campground are pretty close together each site has it's own small picnic table and fire ring. The directions to the park are a little misleading the entrance to the Park is to the SE but the entrance to the campground is to the west heading east off 10th Street and Western Ave.
Some of the sites on the west side of the campground are pretty close together each site has it's own small picnic table and fire ring.
The showers look like they were recently modernized and upgraded. The entire campsite was clean and well taken care of when I was there.
I would recommend a burger a Nick's Hamburgers while you are in town.

We stayed here one night on our way out West. Reservation process was easy via phone. Grounds are well maintained. Bathrooms with showers are newer and very clean. We stayed at pull-thru site 1 with our 23’ travel trailer. Very quiet, only two other campers.

Overall Rating
A well maintained city park with new bathroom and showers and it is super clean. Several pull through sites but most are back in sites. We are 52 ft. with the truck hooked up and had plenty of room.

The park is well maintained. The sites are gravel and most of them are in the shade. In the morning and evening the residents from the apartment complex next door walk through the campground to get to other parts of park but for the most part they were respectful. The park is well maintained. The sites are gravel and most of them are in the shade. In the morning and evening the residents from the apartment complex next door walk through the campground to get to other parts of park but for the most part they were respectful. Sites are electric only, though there is a dump station as you enter the park. The bathrooms were OK – old and for the most part clear. We were there in August for 5 nights and our site flooded due to the rain. It took a few days for the water to recede and thankfully we didn’t have any problems getting out.
