Got My 44ft Alliance Valor in. The first mile was a bit rough. We took the first pull off we came to. Views are amazing.

There was no AT&T cell reception, but 15 minutes north on the highway towards Bluff was great cell reception - also, there is free potable water fill at Sand Island Campground, just down the road. We did the drive through Valley of the Gods and really enjoyed it. We also made a day trip to Natural Bridges National Monument, which also was nice. We'd definitely camp here again.

On our way to see Mexican Hat and Monument Valley, we did a search on a camping spot for a couple of days. We came across Valley of the gods campsite. They mentioned that the road was a little rough so we hesitated because we have a 34ft trailer and we just had to replace all four tires on our vehicle 🤦♀️. So we tried it and within a mile from the main turn off we started to see great camp sites and chose this one, on the left hand side we seen a big enough spot and the road went behind the small hills and found about 4 big campsite that could accommodate big rigs and really not too rough at all.
We would stay here again because it was quiet and the view was amazing.

We stayed on a nice plateau about a quarter mile off the main road. Be careful crossing the creek near the entrance. It was fairly dry when we crossed. If there had been recent rains it might have been dicey but not for 4x4s. A bit dusty but not a deal breaker. Choose a spot not next to the road. Beautiful sunset and sunrise. We would ... more

This site is fine but the entire Valley of the Gods is BLM land and there are 50+ great free sites along the 17 mile drive through The Valley Of The Gods.
