We’ve stayed here many times and I do recommended this KOA. However, our site this stay had some issues. The 50 amp receptacle was loose in the box and unusable. Even the 30 was sketchy as our power blipped on snd off a few times. The cable tv wire was damaged and unusable. Had to use the site next door. I notified the campground and I... more
We’ve stayed here many times and I do recommended this KOA. However, our site this stay had some issues. The 50 amp receptacle was loose in the box and unusable. Even the 30 was sketchy as our power blipped on snd off a few times. The cable tv wire was damaged and unusable. Had to use the site next door. I notified the campground and I’m sure they will fix all this. The site was level, but the dump connection was a bit too far forward in the site. We’ll stay again as it’s very convenient.

The location is very convenient from I95. Can be used for base camp visiting the Savannah area. Sites are very close, gravel and level. Shower house is clean and well maintained as are the grounds.

“Nice Place To Stay”

Overall Rating
We arrived after dark and were lead right to our site. Campground is kept clean and is nicely maintained. We did not use the public restrooms/showers or the laundry facility. We have family in the area and will probably use this campground again when in the area. There is some highway noise but it’s not bad

This KOA is only 15 miles from downtown Savannah, which is for us was our goal. It does have a lot of road noise from US HWY 17 and there is also a train track on the other side of the Hwy 17. This KOA is only 15 miles from downtown Savannah, which is for us was our goal. It does have a lot of road noise from US HWY 17 and there is also a train track on the other side of the Hwy 17. The sites in the middle are very close together, but our neighbors were all very considerate. The pool area is nice and well maintained and the laundry room was cleaned every night. Friendly staff.

We stopped for one night heading home to FL. We had a site near the pool. It was so hot out once we got set up we took a dip in the pool. The sites are close together yet KOA's are like that. There is a nice lake with Swans. You can fish and kayak on the lake.
Easy access coming off the interstate I would stay here again.

Beautiful campsite. Uber or Lyft cost about $34-36 to downtown Savannah. Nice and quiet with beautiful lake view and paths to walk your dogs.

Overall Rating
Busy Koa with easy on/off to 95, but a bit far from downtown area. Nice helpful staff, clean convenient laundry area, but only 3 dryers. There is a lovely lake with swans that make the whole area feel relaxing. Internet was good at this stop. Very nice “patio” sites that are located on the water.

Had everything we needed to include a clean laundry room & restrooms/showers. A beautiful lake and nice area to walk. Our site 45 was nice and level for our 30 foot trailer. Wifi was great and also had cable hookup! Our only complaint, and it’s a minor one, was the dog area (Kamp K9). It was filled with loose, airy dirt. Our dog wouldn... more

Our only complaint, and it’s a minor one, was the dog area (Kamp K9). It was filled with loose, airy dirt. Our dog wouldn’t even retrieve her ball because it was covered in dirt. Maybe she couldn’t identify it or just didn’t want a mouthful of dirt. 🫤

We stayed here one night on our way to Disney. Check in was quick and simple, the staff was very friendly, and bathrooms were very clean and maintained. Would definitely stay again.
