Paying online required the downloading of an app and setting up an account. Got here on a Sunday at 4:00 PM and there were only 3 other campers here.
It’s adjacent to a city park with baseball fields and a basketball court. The roads in this campground are gravel. Sites are on gravel with grass surrounding. Some sites are right on the river. There are two pull throughs spots, the rest back in. They also have some primitive sites for tents.
Site 15 was a pull through spot with both 30 & 50 AMPS. It was fairly level. It was the closest site to the road, but the noise didn’t bother us.
Campground has bathrooms but I did not use them so can’t comment on cleanliness. Dump station available and it has plenty of space to maneuver and turn around. If there were games going on at the ball fields I could see access to the dump station being a bit more difficult.
Verizon signal was 3 bars LTE. It was adequate to talk, text, search internet and stream videos. Also got Dish satellite at the site.

We arrived around 6 PM and there were a few spots already occupied. The river makes for a great night of sleep. The park is well maintained and the facilities look brand new, very clean.

$15 Arrived just before dusk. Lots of sites available and place was well kept, but we felt exposed with sites so close to one another and no trees to make things more private. Lots of people fishing on river. Sites near river were very wet and muddy - likely seasonal. We drove up the road to Birch Lake State Forest instead.

It’s a great place for kids as it adjoins a park. There is a lot of room to walk you dog as well. If you like to fish I saw several people fishing in the Sauk river that runs right by the camp sites. As an added bonus you can walk easily to town from here. The cost was $30 for the night.

Nice county park with large fields, a walking path and a terrific playground. Price was $20, self pay. 50amp only (at least our pedestal did not have 30a) and water. Site had a picnic table. There is even a dump station. Easy access from interstate. Gas stations are 2 minutes away.
Both Verizon and AT&T are strong.

Picnic tables and fire pits at every other site. Access to water and electricity. Camper set-up is $20 versus the $10 I spent. Next to Sauk River with high water in the spring. A couple of the sites had water reaching up to them. One of the fire pits had water almost up to it.
