“Not a bad overnighter”

The park was easy to find. It is located just off of highway 9 beside the Canalta Hotel. There is pavement all the way until you arrive at the park. Signage is adequate. Check in “at the hotel” was efficient and friendly. The rules are fairly basic. The park is close to the highway but we were not bothered by any traffic noise. Highway 9 is not a busy roadway.

Our site, 10, was a pull through that was long enough for our Coach and Towed. Services (30 amp and water) were to the left side. Distancing is close for a rural park. Oyen is not a large metropolis. All sites had a grass island between sites and a few trees. Each site has a table but no fire pit or patio. Our site was a flat, even bed of gravel. Overall the park was not bad for early in the season.

The included wifi internet worked fairly well with no log in password required. We did not find OTA TV. Satellite might be difficult because of the trees if you don’t have a portable dish. We did not use the washrooms or showers.

There is a small store at the COOP service station within easy walking distance.

We paid $39.90 inc tax per night and we feel we received not really fair value but we would be back if in the area again. This is a decent overnighter.
