Needless to say you can pretty much aware of your neighbors presence all the time. There’s so much noise you’d feel like you’re sleeping on highway shoulders - you are probably just 10 feet from it anyway with a wall separating. Location is very convenient - minutes of driving away from the zoo and east beach and that’s the major upside. Staff are friendly and helpful.

We would stay again as it is pretty convenient for exploring SB. Don’t expect anything but hook-ups and you won’t be disappointed. The roadways were narrow and tight. We managed in a 30 foot trailer with TV but it was dicey. This park is right off the freeway so traffic noise is present. We did not use bathrooms or laundry.

If you want to be in Santa Barbara this is the place to be. It’s expensive for what you get (which is essentially just the site and the best WIFI we’ve had in any park) and there is not much to it - but you cannot beat the location. The park is small, but definitely has room for bigger rigs as we have a 38’ fifth wheel and we fit fine (we had a pull through site, although Terry said they normally put bigger rigs in the back end sites). As they say on their website, you are right on the highway and you can hear the traffic.
The husband and wife park managers, Terry and Debbie are super friendly and very helpful!
The park is bare bones - just your site on gravel with a picnic bench. You do not go to this park for its amenities. You go to this park purely because you want to be in Santa Barbara.
Website has good directions for getting to the park.

This is not our typical style of camping. We stayed here as a practical matter to save money on accommodations for an event rather than a vacation holiday. If we needed to overnight on our way through, we would not hesitate to stay here.

We’ve found that many RV Parks offer this service, usually $20. We were unable to locate the manger so started to fill the tank expecting to pay after. The manager found us and and was so angry! We apologized profusely and offered to pay money as was intended but he refused and threatened to call the cops on us for trespassing. He was scary angry and saying very rude things despite us trying to be as nice and apologetic as possible. The website says how friendly the manager is... this is NOT the case.
