I parked near the only light they have out here because it feels unsafe. I hear cars racing around the area behind me, traffic from somewhere near and a train every hour or so so far. I will leave in the morning, but I am tired tonight and will wait it out. Not sure why people stay here. Maybe in the daylight tomorrow I will see some reasons. I’ll add to the review if so.

Where do I start? No employee is around, so to pay for your stay, you have to sign up on some website, pay the $65/night online to listen and feel an train go by (100feet away) every hour all night, and every 10-30 minutes during the day. Not going to stay here again unless they drop the price to $40/night or less.

This parking lot was taken over by the city from the Best Western across the road a year ago. For $50 you get electrical hookup, a neighbor 6 feet away, and the continuous noise of the overpass and railway line right overhead all night. How they can call it a resort is beyond comprehension. It is a gravel pit, and nothing more.

$45 a night is a bit high for what you’re getting for a park in my opinion. Their stance is you get to use the pool, sauna, fitness room. (However don’t use thief towels or take any ice) They do have good WiFi.
The pros, the view from the beach is beautiful. If you’re a boater it’s perfect. If you aren’t into the camping experience and hanging outside you’re rig it’s conveniently located by shops and restaurants.
It’s an in town parking spot. I was just a bit put off that their website description was so misleading. I am posting real pictures of the park which are not on their website.
