COLORADO Fishing or Hunting License, or a State Wildlife Pass, are condidered the permits you need to stay here. CPW provides free electrical hook-ups at some sites and will continue to do so until costs become prohibitive. No water available, no toilets, but most campsites are level and many have good view of the Great Sand Dunes about 5 miles due east of the National Park. I buy online an annual out of state Colorado fishing license, which gives me access to all CO state wildlife areas. NOTE: BEWARE! NoSeeUm’s are ABUNDANT in this area. Their bite will leave you itching for a week!
