Overall Rating
I stay here several times a year during hunting season. Its well maintained and large open space is great for horse trailers which we see there often. Word of warning though during hunting season there will be hunters here and if they were successful in their hunt you may see them processing their game. Also the entrance is a dirt road that has a dip if you have a low clearance car or trailer might avoid it and when it rains the roads are packed but the will be muddy. It is dry camping at it’s best this close to Houston so no water, no power, no sewer, no trash cans, no bathrooms. Bring EVERYTHING you need and pack it all out again especially your trash.
