Update: After waiting a year, the dog park has a fence and, thanks to Owners of sites, poop bags/garbage can/chairs/fence lights available within the fenced area. Also after a year, thanks to the Owners of sites persistence, the pool is heated although not sure if it is left on 24/7 now because in last month or so it was on a timer to turn off overnight which means it took forever to reheat during the day. After a year of waiting wifi is available in the park although it is totally unsecure and no word on whether/when secure access will be available so beware when using since anyone can access from anywhere near the Resort. The tv within the Resort does have access to wifi available channels but not local Corpus Christi channels to access ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX to watch things like sports and specials. There is no one in the office on any regular basis and is closed the majority of time. There is no one onsite every day to assist with checkin, questions, issues arising from unruly rvers, security, etc. although a maintenance person works occasionally. Sites are not routinely cleaned after each use so grills can be nasty. Erroneous site construction has not been fixed nor have repairs made to brick floors that are sinking in the palapas. The birding pond was allowed to become overgrown during the Summer and birds have not returned except occasionally thanks to Owners working to remove the overgrowth and manage the mosquitos. The pond also does not have a pump so scum and mosquitos readily grow. No sites have sold since the first three and rentals are generally available as the Resort rarely has more than several rvs renting at a time unless during special events and Summer.

“Owner’s Perspective”

Overall Rating

We purchased a site in this new resort. The location of the resort is fabulous! Next to Charlie’s pasture and a short walk to fishing pier and ship channel. A golf cart is all you need to get around town and to beach. Small resort with 37 sites and only 3 sold. Unfortunately, of the available 34 sites, only 4 sites are built correctly with the palapa/outdoor kitchen on the door side of an rv and utility hookups on other side. The rest of the sites have the palapa and utility hookups on the same side and it’s the side for utilities so door opens into next door site. While the pool is advertised as heated, it is not to date. Reliable secure wifi is not available yet. The bathrooms do not have showers. If you are renting, you must bring/buy propane for the grill and fire pit. The dog park is not fenced in. All sites are back in.
