This campsite is free with a Discover Pass ($30/year for access to Washington state parks).
PROS: Decent amenities (fire ring and picnic tables at each campsite, clean vault toilet); Reasonably close to Port Angeles and Olympic National Park;
It was cloudy when we stayed here but I suspect this may be a decent spot for solar with clear skies.
CONS: The campground is essentially a gravel parking lot, surrounded by a wooded forest. Decent but certainly not spectacular scenery;
It’s most often used as a ATV site, so I think, at times, it can get a little rowdy in the evenings;
No T-Mobile signal;
No trash or water services of any kind;
Limited privacy between sites.
Verdict: totally fine place to stay near Olympic National Park for free, but not someplace I’m itching to come back to anytime soon.

Nice quiet place to spend the night. Vault toilets, no water, no trash, lots of space for a couple of trailers. The 6 campsites will fit a car or truck & has picnic tables & fire pits. Pretty much a small parking lot with the 6 sites. I did not have internet with Verizon & didn’t try to make any phone calls.

We got probably the best solar out of all the spots, luckily. It’s hard to find a place with solar in the PNW so this place came in handy!

We stayed here in August after Lyre campground was full, the campground host recommended it to us, and was a nice little gem that campendium didn't have listed yet.
This little campground shares its parking lot with an OHV trailhead but is rather quiet. 5 spaces, right next to each other, 1 is reserved for ADA but after 6 pm is available to all for the night. These sites are very level, with a fire ring and a picnic table. Also extremely clean, it almost looked like a brand new campground. I wouldn't recommend tent camping as the pad is large chunky gravel and looks to be intended for RVs. However I wouldn't recommend any big rigs either, the sites are a little narrow. We saw a roughly 30 ft toy hauler in one of the sites fit comfortably. The road in is short, very even, dirt but no potholes, ruts, or washboarding. There is a vault toilet nearby across the parking lot. Discovery Pass required to camp, which is only $30 annually, and is enforced. Not very much privacy but great for an overnight or if you are going to be out on the trails all day.
This is also a good place to camp if you are trying to recharge your solar set up in the cloudy tree covered peninsula.
Overall would stay here again.
We had a little Verizon voice service but our phones were working on the Canadian towers.
