Absolutely, its open to all campers. Some beautiful sites and everyone I met were very friendly and hospitable. Fellow down the road has fresh water and some supplies too.

Yes! It is very rocky and hard ground so I would make sure to bring lots of cushion.

I have camped here a number of times over the past few years, but only in a van. There is no reason that you could not tent camp if you wanted to, but the ground is fairly rocky. You will probably want a cot or plenty of padding for comfort, but a tent is certainly an option.

Absolutely, the land and spots for camping are enormously spaced out. You would have no problem tent camping.

It has a lot of rock there but I have seen a tent used at one spot while I camped there so certainly is possible. Pick your spot to best suit a tent which there were plenty every time I have been there. It is one of my favorite spots in the cool months.
