“Beautiful But Tricky Road”

Road in was ok but campground road is narrow with tight curves. Our 41 ft 5th wheel did ok but very tricky. No T Mobile cell service unless walk to playground, then 1-2 bars. Only downside was camper next to us who looked permanent had 3 dogs that barked loudly and lunged on their leashes when you walked by. Scary. Lake is beautiful. W... more
Road in was ok but campground road is narrow with tight curves. Our 41 ft 5th wheel did ok but very tricky. No T Mobile cell service unless walk to playground, then 1-2 bars. Only downside was camper next to us who looked permanent had 3 dogs that barked loudly and lunged on their leashes when you walked by. Scary. Lake is beautiful. Would caution anyone over 40 ft.

What a gorgeous place. We stayed overnight on the way to DC. Very tight coming in through trees, but if we could do it with a 42ft rig, mostly anyone can. We were also traveling with a 40ft class A that had a tow vehicle. Site 63 and 65 are long enough to accommodate a large rig, but are on a tight turn. Ask for something in the hig... more
What a gorgeous place. We stayed overnight on the way to DC. Very tight coming in through trees, but if we could do it with a 42ft rig, mostly anyone can. We were also traveling with a 40ft class A that had a tow vehicle. Site 63 and 65 are long enough to accommodate a large rig, but are on a tight turn. Ask for something in the high 60s or 70s if you need easier access. 50amp service and water for 28/night on a weekend can’t be beat. ATT 1 bar LTE is spotty at the very best. Great place for kayaking, fishing, or boating. Super family friendly.
