Rock Lake campground is 8km down a well maintained gravel road. There are 2 sections and we were in the full to capacity electric section. We hiked past the other section which was not full during our stay. Sites are small and very close to each other. Sites at the end of the rows have water views, the other sites are less desirable. Electrical posts with 15 and 30 amps (no 50 amps) are shared between every other site. Our post was on the opposite side of our rig and so we had to position our rig awkwardly in the site to hook up. (our door basically opened up onto the road.) Water is located at 6 locations throughout the campground and at the dump station.

There are vault toilets in the campground. I did not use any, but my teenagers reported they were very nice for vaults and they chose to use them than to walk farther to the flush comfort station. There is a modern flush bath house and shower along with coin operated laundry facilities near the entrance and short walking distance. I think the showers were cleaned 2x daily.

Recycling is available at the office. Garbage is in bear proof containers and you definitely are in bear country. The office has a small store with very basic items and an ice cream bar freezer!

There is a roped swimming area and sandy beach at the campground. You may arrange with several local venders to rent canoes and kayaks and have them delivered to the beach at the campground.

I had no cell service in the campground. There is a cell booster located at the office. There is wifi and a nice workstation area at the Visitors Center which is a driveable distance.
