The Rv sign is white and maybe 2’ x 3’ and low to the ground and not at all obvious

Western fires and smoke caused a change in our plans which lead us to Twin Falls. With bikes and kayaks in tow we are always interested in places to cycle and paddle safely. Rock Creek RV Park was a great find and value at $20/night with electric and water, and because it does not take reservations it worked great with our change of plans. A county run park, Rock Creek and the small canyon where the park is located is a wonderful oasis in an otherwise plain part of the county. The canyon is lush and green with a variety of trees and plants with a flowing creek running through the middle. There are several pedestrian bridges connecting both sides of the creek and the paved multi-use path across from the campground. They are RV only and have both 30amp and 50amp hookups. There is no dump on site but a free dump is less than a mile down the road. The location is close to the 500' deep Snake River Canyon where we went for wonderful views, waterfalls, kayaking and cycling on the 7 mile long canyon rim trail (see "Traillink.com" for details.). On most calm and clear days visitors can watch base jumping take place from the bridge near the Twin Falls visitors center.

We stayed in the front part right as you turn in. There are also spots that back up against a retaining wall that looked a little sketchy. There are also pull through sites.
The park does get used during the day but it wasn't too bad. The cell service was fine and we had no electrical or water issues.
The camp host was nice and this was a good place for us to set up camp for a week before moving on.
While you are in town be sure to check out the Shoshone Falls, the Perrine Bridge, and the spot where Evel Knievel attempted his famous Snake River Jump!

We stayed 1 night in early September..... The place looked lovely in all the reviews.
The upper area is much nicer, but the only sites left were very unlevel. We ended up in a back in on the lower level, with a huge retaining wall behind us. True, we had elec and water, but our rig lacks AC, and the temperature was in the upper 90s, with no shade. The campground and lovely park, are a reclamation project. I believe that part of it was a quarry, plus it had been used as a dumping ground. At any rate, it is unnaturally lower than the surrounding landscape, and even though there was a breeze topside, we just sweltered in the shade of our awning. The cement wall behind us radiated heat even after the sun went below the rim.
On the positive side, it was on our route south, easy to find, and reasonably priced. At dusk we were able to stretch our legs, and walk the dog along the lovely paved path. On our walk we read the informative plaques of the prior history of the park.

The first section you come to is more picturesque and private than the second section, which has an ugly wall propping up the cliff, and two lanes of campsites. In the first section, choose a site as far down as possible, because they rent out the picnic pavilion, and there were noisy family reunions or birthday parties there on both Friday evening and Saturday.
Water pressure was very low, and variable. Sometimes it was adequate, but on three mornings I had to use my water pump and water from my tank to take a shower.
Verizon 4G was excellent, with 5 bars, -89 dB, 11 Mbps down and 16 up.
I recommend The Barber Shop at Gehrig, Dale & Co, where I got a good $12 haircut from a very friendly barber with a uniquely-decorated salon. Walmart has by far the cheapest gas, and there is a propane refill station when you turn left on Hwy 93. I dumped my tanks for free at Twin Falls Dump Station.

Great price for site with partial hookups. It was quiet and the park looks well maintained. No sewer, so we drove to the fairgrounds for the free dump station; and found that they had full hookups and grass for the same price there at the fairgrounds. Quite close to the falls.

We loved staying here! We were looking for somewhere close that we could explore around twin falls and this was perfect! We were worried about finding a spot in the middle of July but there were plenty of sites available. So nice to be able to run the ac! There is a nice walking path along the creek, a playground for kids, and covered picnic tables although they aren’t directly at each site. The vault toilets were clean and stocked with tp.
Getting there was interesting because of the plain dirt lot at the top of the hill but if you follow the sign you’ll see the little oasis tucked away in the canyon!
If for some reason you are not confident in taking your rig up and down hills I would not recommend coming here, though we had no issues

As the other reviewers have said, the approach is a little off-putting. Looks like you're heading for some lot next to a junk yard but then you get down the hill and see the pretty park. Site 5 was long enough that we didn't have to unhitch, and level(ish) side to side.

Very nice county park in a canyon along a rushing creek with walking trails and close access to local sites. We stayed in site 1 (back in) with our 32’ TT and it was much quieter than the other side of the park where there are out 6-7 pull throughs that were mostly full and had more road noise from above. Only complaint is no picnic tables hence the 4 star review instead of 5 stars. Stayed here Sun-Wed.
