Goat heads everywhere to plague your dog. Someone was so upset that the restrooms are closed that they unloaded in front of the door. But it’s free and near Twin so I won’t turn my nose at it. Six spots. One can fit a rig about 35’. The rest are parking pads

A little creek runs down the middle. Seems fairly quiet, just a bit of street noise. Smells like horses as there is a horse ranch just to the hill and the wind was blowing towards us.

Park is officially closed no services meaning no electric and no water. There is also no dump station here. If you wanted to park in a spot and totally dry camp and your rig is less than 30 ft you could probably fit into one of the few spots here.

Quiet area, restrooms were unfortunately closed, some owls, some goats (or a crying baby, not sure), pretty windy and cold, but fine with the right equipment.

Do be aware that there are goat heads (prickly ground cover) all over. My dog learned about them quickly! Overall a great stop if you’re completely self-contained. Looks like there’s no potable water and I doubt the electric posts work at the camp “sites” although I didn’t check. There are pit toilets, but we didn’t use those either.

This is a rest area with a few dry camping spots. We had no issue fitting our 42' 5th wheel in one of the spots. The restrooms are closed, water spigots locked, and 30 amp power turned off presumably due to COVID. We stayed for 3 nights, but on the 3rd night a Filer police officer came and told us that it's only intended for 1 night. He was kind and going around to the others who have stayed for more than one night. He said he understood why it's confusing since nothing online nor any of the signs say that there is a limit.
This is a good spot to park for the day/night to go into Twin Falls and see Shoshone Falls. It was a 20 minute drive to Twin Falls where you can find just about any store or restaurant you want. This was perfect for us as we could leave our 5th wheel and just take the truck.
There is a little stream, grills, and covered picnic tables scattered throughout the area. There are also garbage bins throughout the area. Watch out for the prickers (goat heads) in the camping area as they are everywhere! Anyone can park here at night and there were a few large trucks that left their engines on all night. It's also next to a highway, but the traffic was minimal at night.

Didn't use a "site" because we came in the dark and didn't notice them. Looks like there are 4 and they have electric hookup. I wouldn't "camp" here, but it was perfect for a free overnight spot.

We stayed one night in a site with no services. The sites with power hook ups had 120 I didn't see any water except one spout by the toilets with a non potable sign. I don't know if the 30amp service was active. I would have tried to pay and just use the 120 but the sign when you enter says no power and no water and the sign inside the park was empty of pay slips but also stated you could stay free for 7 days.
We parked in a site without services. On day two we were asked by an officer to leave. So I'm guessing it's really no power, no water, no camping. Must have inadvertently omitted that important little detail on the entrance sign and all the other signage.
Frankly, after this, I'd be hard pressed to stay in Filer ever again. I get enough psycho babble from national government entities, I'm not going to try and survive it on a local level. We went to Jerome fairground and will gladly pay the $10 for a more sane camping policy, and buy our diesel in Jerome, buy our groceries in Jerome, get the dogs to the vet in Jerome, and share all the other positive economic benefits and reasons you invite campers into the community in the first place.
Filer, nice park, now clean up your messaging.

Nice little county park. Easy access for any size/type rig.
As of 5/15/20, due to Covid-19, there is no electric or water. Currently
no charge for overnight stays.
There are restrooms, but we did not use them.
There were 7 'developed' sites, 30 amp/120. Could probably fit up to a
40 foot rig, hanging off the back of the pad. $12.00 per night
The 'Undeveloped' sites were just pull up along the curb in the wide areas.
7 day maximum stay, with 14 days out.
We stayed in site #2. It was right next to a large warren of
Yellow-Bellied Marmots, which sounds cool, but it stunk. There was poo
everywhere. Otherwise a nice overnight stay
The signs on the road to enter say "Rest Area".
Traffic on the highway was not very loud. You could hear it, but it didn't bother us.
Pretty, quiet area.
