We stayed in Loop 3 site #17.
I was just a short walk to the boat ramp
We really didn’t get to enjoy the lake much as there was algae bloom & the lake was pretty green. There are lovely views of the surrounding mountains and star viewing was also great. Lots of wildlife in the area. Tons of chipmunks and a variety of Birds, we saw a bald eagle.

We stayed in a 35 foot RV with no problems. Water was turned off due to COVID. The lake was beautiful. Paved road but the campsites were really dusty. We could hear traffic from the FS road nearby.
Mark & Molly would stay here again

Rock Creek FS Campground is on Crane Prairie Reservoir which is part of the Cascade Lakes Loop. With our Sr Access Pass, it was only $8/night. lWe stayed there the week after July 4th with a canoe/kayaking group which used 7 sites for trailers and tenters. It worked particularly well for those of us who booked early enough to be in the same loop. I believe there were some empty sites when we were there.
Many of the sites are relatively large and can easily accommodate trailers/RVs as well as an additional tent or screened shelter. There was a mix of shady and sunny sites. All had picnic tables and fire pits. There was an outhouse per loop as well as a water pump per loop. The campground has a boat launch and a day use area.
We weren't thrilled with the overflowing dumpster that wasn't dumped for several days but we did get there post July 4th. The outhouse was OK; not the worst we've seen. We did see a campground person most days mid-afternoons. The water pump on our loop was broken.
We used the free sani-dump at La Pine State Park before we arrived and paid $8 at Gordy's Gas Station/Truck Stop in LaPine on our way out. (No fresh water at Gordy's sani-dump area; needed to move to another part of the gas station)
We were able to get Verizon service good enough for email and light web browsing which was far better early and late in the day. Other folks with AT&T had to drive a bit to get cell reception.
