We liked this park, even though it has no amenities. We only needed it for overnight so it worked for us. It is what others have said. It is a gravel parking lot with sites that are huge (we parked our F250 beside our fifth wheel), full hookups and pull throughs (yes! we love those!) However that is all you get, no pool, playground or laundry facilities. The park could use some trees. Temperature can get up there. The guy in the office was friendly! There is a casino about a mile away if you’re looking for something to do. They take Good Sam’s.

We stayed here November 8-11. We picked Road Runner because we wanted to explore White Rock, Los Alamos, Bandelier, and Taos and the options in Santa Fe were really expensive. It is a gravel parking lot with huge sites. We could park our truck beside our Airstream. It is right on 84 but we were surprised by the little road noise in the night. Most of the folks there are long term folks many of whom, we were told, work at Los Alamos National Labs. The guys in the office were incredibly nice, friendly, and helpful. We spent a couple of quiet nights on full hookup and it met our need for a jump off point. Total bonus was the excellent Road Runner Cafe next door. Excellent Huevos Rancheros. There is a grocery store across the street, though it was a bit expensive, and a couple of other well reviewed restaurants. Propane was available for fill up at the Nambe Travel Center (near Blue Thunder Casino) and was the cheapest we have found yet on this trip.

This is a return visit for us. It is a big gravel parking lot but has 63 full hook ups and WiFi. No trees so it is easy to set up the portable Dish. Both ATT and Verizon cell signals are good. It is a Good Sam Park owned by the Pojoaque Pueblo. The sites are very long and very wide – enough for our truck and our two guests who each had a car. There is neither a laundry room nor restrooms/showers. Rigs must be self-contained to stay here. The campground is located near Buffalo Thunder & Cities of Gold Casinos as well as Poeh Cultural Center & Museum. As RV guests, we can also enjoy the amenities of their resort and casino too – like the hot tub and pool. Yes, although it is not a resort, it is clean, safe, easy to get to since it is located just 15 miles north of Santa Fe on US Highway 84/ 285, and is convenient for us to visit nearby family. This park is also convenient for those wanting to have a base to visit areas surrounding Santa Fe such as Bandelier National Monument, Tent Rocks, Valles Caldera, the Jemez Trail, Los Alamos, Black Mesa Winery, Chimayo, Ojo Caliente, Abiquiu, and the Georgia O'Keeffe Ghost Ranch. We will stay here again.

We wanted to boondock overnight in Santa Fe but found it was not easy to navigate an RV around and neither Walmart in town would take us. So this park fit us in that night thankfully! It is on a reservation land and I was told by someone not to take pictures (I'm a photographer and they had a storm roll in that night and I was taking pics of the sky), they said the Chief could fine me for it! The site we had was so unlevel but it was the last one so we made do with it.

“Park update”
noted 5/7/2023
I have not stayed here. I called 5.7.23, they do not have a web site. They do not offer wi-fi. They said the Verizon signal there was poor to bad. Full HU 48.00 a night no taxes.
