Overall Rating

The State Park is huge. The campground is like 10 miles off the highway. Sites are easy to get in and out. Water at dump station, which is pretty close to the campground. Riverview is the only campground with electricity. Water is at dump station and sporadically around the campground. Animals were great. Red squirrels, black squirrels, 13 lined groud squirrels, chipmunks, turkeys and deer. Bike paths are paved and good condition. The biggest problems is I have never seen mosquitoes and flies so bad anywhere. I use off bug repellent and I still had over 100 mosquitoes bites in the 4 days. The flies on the bike paths were really bad. Dozens around all the time. The key was riding more than 10 miles per hour. I have never complained about bugs in a review before. Worst ever by far.
