Small campground run by husband and wife. Beautiful location on the Greenbrier river. Our site overlooked the river and we really loved the peaceful setting. We camped her at the beginning of May so it was cold when we arrived. Within a few days things warmed up nicely. Very friendly owners and we enjoyed our conversations with Joe very much. Did I mention the sites are on the river? They have a very nice walk way along the river, you might want to bring a few chairs down to the river and just sit a spell. Just a bit of highway noise from the other side of the river, but tolerable. Lots of trees and they are trimmed so you don't have to worry about possible roof damage. Not a lot going on in the neighboring town and there are a few dollar stores around. I would suggest bringing enough food and supplies for your stay. Overall this campground is wonderful! We hope to make it back here and would highly recommend this campground highly.

I stayed here at the end of April, and there were but two other occupied sites, so it was very quiet. They have only 12 sites, all gravel and all face on the Greenbrier River. I don't fish, so can't comment on the fishing! This would have been a 5- star rating except for the unfortunate location -- right across the river from a busy state highway. The noise (including big trucks and motorcycles) is pretty constant. All sites have water, electric and sewer. They have no WiFi, but I showed 5 bars of 5G service from Verizon. The owners live on-site, were very helpful and friendly. Some sites are short and not suitable for big rigs, although some are. (There was a long 5-er in one of the sites.) Make sure that a large site is available when you reserve!
