I have to say i was quite surprised at this camp ground. We stayed for 3 nights an are spot was right along the river. This camp ground was very clean an all the people that worked there were super nice. We will be visiting again.

The campground is next to a riverside path that one can walk for a few miles and it has a dedicated fenced in dog space that was actually clear of dog poop - very nice especially compared to others we’ve been to where people don’t pick up after their dogs. Would love for the dog run to be big enough to chuck a ball but the dogs can run off-leash on the path (unless others are using the path of course).
The staff is friendly and provided a router to improve our riverside wifi which was included! We very much appreciated this “go the extra step” practice as we need wifi for work on the road.
One caveat that doesn’t impact the Campground: down the path there’s a bit of mess left behind by old homeless encampments & there’s a chance of running into a homeless encampment farther down the path, but we did not cone across one.

Mostly big rigs with a number of full-time rv’ers. We’ll maintained. Feather River Fish Hatchery is nearby, fascinating and worth visiting.

Older established park along the Feather River is very relaxing. Needs some upgrades but all in all a very nice facility. Nice shady spots, green grass in spite of water shortage, even during the heat of summer in California (before all the fires in 2021).

It’s nicely maintained but the best part is it’s right on Feather River. Great place to relax and go fishing! It’s just off Hwy 70 so 2 minutes from shopping by car and has all the amenities! There is a bit of highway noise during the day but evenings are quiet. A family emergency kept me from staying but they are allowing me to reschedule rather than lose my funds. 7 days $300 with Good Sam discount. I recommend this sweet spot.
