I followed the directions of the people who said to go north after exiting I-40. The road was HORRIBLE, with deep ruts, huge rocks, ditches. If you are in a Jeep, you might be OK. We stay here frequently in the spring and fall. We're never had any problems. It does get full sometimes. It's quiet but there is some sort of machinery that runs on occasion for a day or two.
