There is a large meadow area for tent camping. Many trails in Greenridge state forest right next door as well as the towpath for bicycling. This was my only time here so no idea how it is when busy but having it and the forest almost to myself was cool. Bathrooms clean, showers hot, a camp-store well stocked. My trailer site was about $60 a night.

This is a gem of a campground. Quiet, wooded, well kept. Staff were wonderful. Full-hookups. Pretty level and spacious lots. Great bathroom -clean, good water pressure, and hot water! Fun playground for the kids and nice club house with plenty of room for the kids to spread out and do lessons on a cold and rainy day. The mountains in the area are absolutely beautiful and we spent a day driving around sightseeing. There is an area of the campground with more permanent campers, but no one is allowed to live in the campground year around. This campground is on our list of favorites!
NOTE: There are not a lot of stores in this area. There’s a really great coffee shop/restaurant with a local gas station. And a small store that has basic groceries. The closest Walmart was over 40 minutes away. You may want to bring groceries with you.

The Hosts are pleasent and super helpful. Would definately would stay here again.
As this Campground is open year round, there are many Full Time and seasonal campers. All the sites we saw were spacious, with plenty of room between sites.
