Overall Rating
We camp a lot, so we get that bugs come with that, but this was INSANE. We are covered in bites. Nothing seemed to keep them away. We are leaving early because my kids are miserable. Maybe it is our site? Sites are spacious and nicely wooded. The lake is nice, but kind of slimy. Bugs seem less right by the beach, but descend again once you get towards the grass. Vault toilets were very clean. Water pump available. Trash cans are far from the sites. No other amenities. Pretty close to some small towns and we enjoyed ice cream at “sweet memories”.
