Reversed Creek Campground

Reversed Creek Campground has one thing going for it - Location. It's on the June Lake Scenic Loop, just on the edge of town in a wooded area. It's nicely scenic, with aspen trees and set a bit off the main road. Unfortunately , it's also in need of a makeover and a better management. I had a large, pull through site which consisted of very uneven dirt and broken asphalt. The majority of RV sites appear to be in the same condition. Note that the campground road is narrow and there's a tight turning radius for backing in larger rigs. Pay close attention to the site description when booking. Also, the area is very wooded, so solar access is limited. Verizon coverage was good.

Our camp host stopped cleaning the bathrooms after the first day. The trash wasn't removed and when it rained, the restrooms became filthy. I did my best to keep one usable throughout my stay. No showers on site, but you can use the coin op showers at nearby Pine Cliff Resort.

On a positive note, the nights were quiet and peaceful. This campground has so much potential, a few minor updates could make it highly desirable.

I'd stay here again, but with full knowledge of the drawbacks.

We drove around the campground several times hoping to stay here for the night. Many of the campsites were too steep for RV leveling or were cordoned off due to wet conditions from heavy snowpack and late melting. Overall the campground looked like it had just recently been hacked out of the forest. I may be Old School, but this is not my type of campground.
