“Just a smelly bog”

13.5 miles on gravel, takes 45 minutes.
Closest cell coverage is 16 miles away.
Water was filthy, 6 inches visibility, solid brown muddy color.
Planted trout were maybe 5-6 inches long, didn't matter as it was to murky to even try fishing. They would have tasted like dirt and mud anyway.
Place reeked of bog dirt...very smelly and unpleasant. Any campsite within 40 feet of the water was unsafe to drive a trailer on, it sinks.
I didn't expect a "reservoir" to be 6 inch visibility.
Is pretty enough but not going to be like you think I promise!
One stinky night was enough for me. They should pay you to camp here.
The other "reservoirs" were just as muddy....horrible looking water all through that area is what I experienced.

Overall Rating
Very peaceful place. While we expected high desert scenery - there were lots of small trees, not just sagebrush! Fishing was good - both brown trout and rainbow. Believe they stock the rainbow, not sure about browns. 16 miles down a pretty good gravel road - last 5-6 miles were a bit washboarded, but could still make 20 mph. Pit toilets - but they have not been serviced in a long time.
