We had the small park to ourselves. It was a warm day but the green grass and quiet surroundings were a welcome experience. Sites had water & electric. We walked the quiet streets of town in the evening and noticed showers and laundry in town (perhaps 3-4 “blocks” from the park). We didn’t use them but both were clean and open. ... more

Busy on the weekend but Sunday afternoon I was the only camper here. Quiet town, showers and laundry in town about half mile away. I only had one bar on Verizon. If you have a chance visit the Straw Museum. This park has two severe weather shelters. And a nice park for the kids.

Did not stay, observed while checking out the area; would like to return. Lovely, small camping area on the edge of town, with dump station in town at N44.17229, W97.71360. Lots of trees; next to water. Nightly fee of $15, with water and electric at each site. Accessed by crossing old wooden bridge; check weight limit. Looked deli... more

Internet access in area minimal at best. Open during lockdown. May 20.
