This location is about 8miles off of Hwy I-84-- a great location; close by not too close.
Fully paved road the whole way.
There are a few back in sites available. They weren't particularly secluded from each other, but were a decent size.
We were tenting this time, so we enjoyed the lush green space designated for tent campers (though there was no one there on a Tues, so we could have taken up an RV site with no issue). The Grande Ronde River provides beautiful soundscapes to fall asleep to. Was otherwise quiet the whole time we were there.
There is a bathroom with flushing toilets and a sink, no showers. Trash cans also on site.
Each site had a picnic table & fire ring.
For $10/night, we will regularly use this as a stop when passing through.

There are 10 RV sites and 10 tent sites, plenty of parking for an extra vehicle, and the campground host was kind and friendly.

This place is really pretty. No freeway noise like the campground right off the interstate. But there was some traffic on the road by it and they are flying down the canyon so it’s loud as it backs up to the campsites. Nice creek and bathrooms are clean and warm. Nice creek and bathrooms are clean and warm. Camp host Kent was super nice.
There are several campgrounds on this road so a good place to find a spot. Only one other camper on a Wednesday night.
I had pretty much no signal in most of the campground.

Beautiful campground 5 miles off freeway right along the creek. Sounds of gentle rapids, birds, and wind in the trees. Super clean bathrooms. Pretty level spots. Day use area too. Looks good for fishing but water was high when we were there. Not a ton of privacy but most sites are angled so that you don’t stare at your neighbor.

RV sites limited to about 50ft. Water hookups at each site and throughout the tent area. $10 per night per site and $7 for each additional vehicle. Trash cans throughout the campground. Situated amongst the trees with the beautiful Grande Ronde River running through at the back. Cleanest restrooms I've ever seen at a State park. No signal on AT&T at first but with the cell booster and directional antenna, we were able to get 4 bars of LTE signal without issue. Will definitely be back when we're through this way again. Seasonal camping between Apr 18 - Oct 13.
